2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 323, 332, 333, 353, 307 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.
3. As per prosecution case, it is alleged that an altercation occurred between two village groups and when the police arrived to pacify the situation, the mob turned aggressive and started pelting stones upon the police party and damaged police vehicle.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is quite innocent and has committed no offence. There are general and omnibus allegation and there is no specific accusation of overt act against this
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9273 of 2025(2) dt.27-03-2025 2/2 petitioner. It is further submitted that several co-accused persons having similar allegations have already been granted by Coordinate Benches of this Hon'ble Court. Petitioner claims clean antecedents.

On the other hand, learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and submitted that petitioner is named in the F.I.R. with specific accusation that he, along with other accused persons, pelted stones and assaulted the police party and also damaged police vehicle.
6. Considering the facts facts and circumstances of the case and gravity of accusation, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
