The petitioner has been arrested in connection with Civil Line P.S. Case No. 299 of 2014 registered under Sections 385 and 387 of Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that there was demand of Rangdari on mobile phone.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only material against the petitioner is that his name finds place on confessional statement of co-accused to whom the police apprehended and except confessional statement, there is no material against the petitioner. It is further submitted that one of the co-accused having similar allegation has been granted bail by this Court.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief
