Mr. APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 11-03-2022 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned APP for the State.

The petitioners who are in-laws of the opposite party No. 2 seek bail in anticipation of their arrest in connection with Salkhua P.S. Case No. 196/2019 instituted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.19264 of 2021(2) dt.11-03-2022 2/3 for the offence under Sections 341, 323, 498(A), 494 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It has been urged on behalf of the petitioners that they have been made accused in this case only because they happen to be the family members of the husband of O.P. No.2 with whom she could not maintain good relations. Initially, the petitioners were granted police bail but after the charge-sheet was submitted, they preferred an application for anticipatory bail before the court below which has been rejected as being not maintainable only on the ground that earlier the petitioners were on police bail.

The husband of the opposite party no. 2 has been granted regular bail by a Bench of this Court. Considering the afore-noted facts, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of
