This is an application for grant of regular bail filed on behalf of the petitioner. Petitioner is in custody in connection with Ara Town PS Case No. 697 of 2018 for the alleged offence punishable under Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegation is that in the instant case total 147.375 liters of liquor was recovered from the joint family house. Learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 16.01.2019. He further submits that nothing was recovered from conscious possession of the petitioner.

Considering that the petitioner has no criminal

Accordingly, let the petitioner above named, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of A.D.J. IV-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Bhojpur at Ara in connection with Ara Town PS Case No. 697 of 2018.
