The petitioner is in custody in connection with Chenari P.S. Case No. 254 of 2017 for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the name of the petitioner surfaced on the confessional statement of Sunil Pandey and the said Sunil Pandey has been granted bail by coordinate Bench of this Court in CR. Misc. no. 13292 of 2018 vide order dated 21.02.2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case was registered against unknown but despite the petitioner was not put on TIP, except confessional

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9438 of 2019(2) dt.18-02-2019 2/2 statement nothing is found against this petitioner. Considering the fact that other co-accused including Sunil Pandey has been granted bail by co-ordinate Bench of this Court, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court of learned C.J.M., Rohtas in connection with Chenari P.S. Case No. 254 of 2017.
