The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offences under Sections 302/24 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation has been made that four persons have come on two motor cycles and fired upon the wife of nephew of the informant. Later on, in the case diary it transpires that story has been set up by the husband of the deceased to eliminate her having illicit relation.

One Shyam Sundar Singh having identical allegation has been released on bail by this Court vide Cr. Misc. No.25746 of 2014. Even the husband has been granted bail by this Court.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.51635 of 2015 (3) dt.30-01-2016 Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case, let petitioner, Ranjeet Kumar, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi in connection with Riga P.S. Case No. 234 of 2013.
