2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No. 188 of 2024, registered for the offence punishable under Section 306/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, the petitioner is the friend of the deceased. When the deceased went to earn his livelihood to Gujarat, he started an affair with the wife of the deceased. The deceased was informed about the same and when he was coming after leaving Gujarat, he called his wife on phone. The wife eloped with the petitioner and the child. In these circumstances deceased committed suicide. The petitioner was caught along with the wife of the deceased.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9953 of 2025(2) dt.06-03-2025 2/2 petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner has clean antecedent and he is in custody since 20.06.2024.

5. Learned APP for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid fact and also period of custody, this application is allowed.

7. Considering the trauma faced by the deceased because of the acts of a friend and also considering his death, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

8. Accordingly, the prayer for regular bail stands dismissed.
