2. The petitioner is aggrieved with the selection of the private respondent no.11, who has been selected to the post of Sanitary Supervisor by the Aam Sabha held on 02.10.2023 under Gram Panchayat Raj Harpur, Jalbansi.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that

Patna High Court CWJC No.3358 of 2025(2) dt.25-02-2025 2/3 notwithstanding the fact that the petitioner was duly appointed and working as Swachhta Grahi since 10.08.2022 till the fresh selection; the respondent no.11, who was having no experience has been appointed by ignoring the claim of the petitioner in complete defiance of the guidelines, inasmuch as the respondent no.11, is none else but the nephew of the Mukhiya of the concerned Panchayat. It is further contended that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has approached before all the authorities concerned, including the Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-Deputy Chairman District Water and Sanitary Committee, Buxar. However, till date no action has been taken compelling the petitioner to approach this Court.

Learned counsel for the State, referring to the guidelines issued by the Chief Executive Officer-cum-Mission Director, Lohiya Swachh Bihar, Abhiyan, has contended that if there is any irregularity in the selection of Sanitary Supervisor, in such circumstances, it is the Deputy Development Commissioner, who is the competent authority to look into the matter.

5. Having heard learned counsel for the respective parties and considering the fact that the petitioner has raised a notice of irregularity in the selection of Sanitary Supervisor, this

Patna High Court CWJC No.3358 of 2025(2) dt.25-02-2025 3/3 Court deems it appropriate to dispose off the writ petition with a direction to the respondent no.6, the Deputy Development Commissioner, Buxar, to consider the representation of the petitioner as contained in Annexure-P/7 and bring it to its logical conclusion, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from today, after giving proper opportunity of hearing to all the concerned.

6. The writ petition stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
