In this case, the petitioner is seeking bail in connection with Ujiarpur P.S. Case No. 83 of 2014 registered for offence under section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the first information report, allegation has been made against all the accused persons to have killed the sister of the informant by strangulation.

The counsel for the petitioner submits that during investigation it transpired that the victim lady has committed suicide on account of some family dispute. The petitioner is brother-in-law of the victim and at the time of death, the victim has two sons aged 7 years and 13 years.
