ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 10-02-2025 Without going into the merits or demerits of the case, having regard to the fact that the petitioner has already filed his objections under Section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914 before the Certificate Officer (Respondent No. 4), the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of admission with the consent of both the parties directing the respondent No. 4 to pass necessary orders under

Patna High Court CWJC No.2041 of 2025(2) dt.10-02-2025 2/2 Section 10 of the Act duly taking into account the objections filed by the petitioner. The authority shall take the objections into consideration and pass a reasoned order giving the reasons either for accepting or rejecting the objections filed by the petitioner. It is needless to mention that before passing any orders, the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the petitioner.

2. Till such time, the final orders are passed under Section 10 of the Act, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.

3. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
