JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 09-10-2023 The limited prayer of the petitioner in the present writ petition is to direct the District Arms Magistrate / District Magistrate, Patna, to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner dated 1.2.2021, filed for grant of arms license. 2.

The learned counsel for the Respondent-State submits that in case, the application of the petitioner, filed for grant of arms license, is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off within a fixed time frame.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Arms Magistrate / District Magistrate, Patna, to dispose off the

Patna High Court CWJC No.3727 of 2023(2) dt.09-10-2023 2/2 application of the petitioner, filed for grant of arms license, in case the same has actually been filed and is still pending, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of six weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order. 4.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
