The petitioner seeks bail in Mufasil P.S. Case No. 148 of 2014 for the offences under Sections 25(1-b)/26 of the Arms Act.

It appears that from the possession of the petitioner, two pistols of 7.65 mm and two magazines were recovered. The petitioner has remained in jail only since 07.08.2014. Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.

The petitioner may renew the prayer for bail after remaining nine months in jail.
