The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barauli P.S. Case No.239 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code. It has been contended that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR nor any cogent evidence could be collected against him in course of investigation. He has been apprehended merely on suspicion and apart from his confessional statement there is no other material to connect the petitioner with the alleged occurrence.
Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. He has submitted that the case is based on circumstantial

Regard being had to the facts and circumstances of the case, the above named petitioner, who is said to be in custody since 14th November, 2013 is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Barauli P.S. Case No.239 of 2013.
