JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 18-02-2020 The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Special Case No. 7 of 2020 arising out of Sikti P.S. Case No. 215/2019, registered for offences punishable under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. Allegation is of recovery of 41.700 litres of liquor from the petitioner and one co-accused.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has falsely been implicated in this case and in fact there is no recovery from the possession of the petitioner. Further he has no criminal antecedent and has been in judicial custody since 31.12.2019.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides, in view of the above

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7700 of 2020(2) dt.18-02-2020 2/2 submission, let the petitioner above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000 (Rs. Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional District & Sessions Judge-IIcum-Special Court, Excise, Araria in connection with Special Case No. 7 of 2020 arising out of Sikti P.S.
