JUSTICE ANIL KUMAR UPADHYAY ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 12-01-2018 The issue canvassed in this writ petition filed in public interest pertains to appointment and continuance of the Principals in the B.N. College, Patna and Law College, Patna of the Patna University. We are informed that subsequent developments have taken place and certain changes have been brought with regard to the functioning of the Principals during the pendency of the matter and recently on account of change of the policy about making regulation by the University Grant
Patna High Court CWJC No.16745 of 2016(10) dt.12-01-2018 2/2 Commission also certain action has been taken which has been challenged by individuals and sub-judice before the writ court. Taking note of this stand, we dispose of the matter with liberty to the petitioner to represent the issue to the Hon'ble Chancellor of the Universities and in case he has any grievance, we are hopeful that the Hon'ble Chancellor will look into the grievance and evaluate the same in the backdrop of the modification of the statutory rule and pass appropriate orders with regard to the issue in question of the concerned University. With the aforesaid liberty to the petitioner, we dispose of the matter.
