JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 25-10-2019 The only grievance of the petitioner at this stage is that even though he has been declared successful candidate in the draw of lots held on 11.01.2018, till date the respondent Indian Oil Corporation Limited has not completed the field verification and on the earlier field verifications done on some occasions no final decision is being taken by the respondent Indian Oil Corporation Limited. In this regard learned counsel for the petitioner has drawn attention of this court towards his

Patna High Court CWJC No.12947 of 2018(2) dt.25-10-2019 2/3 representation dated 12.06.2018 (Annexure 10 series) submitted with the Deputy General Manager (LPG-Sales), Patna Area Office, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Patna. It is submitted that in view of the inordinate delay in taking decision, fate of the petitioner is not getting clear despite being successful candidate in the draw of lots.

Learned counsel for the Indian Oil Corporation Limited submits that at this stage though he cannot make a categorical statement as to the time frame which is likely to be taken in the decision making but as per his instruction the field verification has already been done and the final decision is likely to be taken within a reasonable time.

In the given facts and circumstances considering the time gap which has already occurred since the draw of lots held on 11.01.2018, this court directs the respondents - Indian Oil Corporation Limited and it's authorities to look into the grievance of the petitioner and take a final decision in the matter after considering Annexure '10'

Patna High Court CWJC No.12947 of 2018(2) dt.25-10-2019 3/3 series to the writ application in accordance with the policy guidelines of the Corporation. Such decision shall be taken within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The Writ Application stands disposed off accordingly.
