The petitioners seek regular bail in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 467 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 448, 341, 323, 324, 354, 384, 380, 307, 504, 506, 509m 376/511 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of Prevention of Witch (Dian) Practices Act.

The allegation is regarding the accused persons having reached the house of the informant and tried to assault the members of the prosecution side as also had tried to commit rape upon the informant, however, when she became unconscious, the accused persons committed theft in the house on the point of pistol.

It is further submitted that neither any recovery has been made from possession of the petitioners nor T.I. parade has been held so as to connect the petitioners in the alleged crime. The petitioners are languishing in custody since 13.12.2018. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be enlarged on regular bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 467 of 2018.
