JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 20-06-2018 Challenging an order dated 24.1.2017 passed by the learned Writ Court in C.W.J.C. No.11042 of 2016, this appeal has been filed under Clause-X of the Letters Patent. The matter pertains to cancellation of a panel prepared for appointment of Accredited Statistical Volunteers (ASV) and by the same order passed on 24.1.2017 various writ petitions were decided. LPA's were filed in most of the cases and by a detailed order passed on 17.4.2018 in L.P.A. No.535 of 2017 identical appeals filed challenging identical orders have already been rejected by this Court.
Apart from the fact that there is a delay of one year
and 47 days in filing of the appeal, in view of the fact that the issue in question stands answered against the petitioners/appellants in L.P.A. No.535 of 2017, decided on 17.4.2018, we see no reason to take a different view now in this appeal.
This appeal is also dismissed.
