The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khijjarsarai P.S.Case No. 153 of 2015 registered under Sections 302 and 201 read with 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Regard being had to the gravity of the offence and the allegation that the petitioner brutally assaulted his wife as a result of which she died which fact has been supported by the sister of the deceased during course of investigation whose statement has been recorded in para-7 of the case diary, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected.
