2. The present petition has been preferred for the grant of following relief(s):

(i) to issue an appropriate writ/order/direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order bearing memo no. 76 dated

Patna High Court CWJC No.1899 of 2023(6) dt.13-11-2025 2/3 28.01.2023 issued under the signature of the Assistant Inspector General, the Prohibition Excise & Registration Department, Bihar, whereunder purportedly in terms of Section 23 of the Societies Registration Act, 1860, the registration of the petitioner association namely, the Bihar Administrative Service Association, has been cancelled, with an additional direction to cease its activities, and with a direction to the District Magistrate, Patna to take over the assets of the association within 15 days (Annexure-15).

(ii) to issue an appropriate writ/order/direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the initiation of the proceedings through letter no. 1134 dated 10.12.2022 issued under the signature of the Assistant Inspector General, the Prohibition Excise & Registration Department, Bihar, whereunder a show cause notice has been issued against the petitioner association for cancelling its registration (Annexure-6).

(iii) to issue an appropriate writ/order/direction in the nature of mandamus

Patna High Court CWJC No.1899 of 2023(6) dt.13-11-2025 3/3 commanding the respondent District Magistrate, Patna to not proceed with taking over the assets of the association within 15 days after preparation of the inventory of the assets as directed by order bearing memo no. 76 dated 28.01.2023.

(iv) to any other relief or reliefs for which the petitioner is found to be entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case."

3. Mr. Pranav Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
