Petitioner is the husband of the deceased. The marriage was solemnized three years before preceding the date of the victim.
Allegation has been made that the petitioner and other family members killed the victim and disposed of the dead body. Certain Paragraphs of the case diary support the case of prosecution but certain Paragraphs make the picture very confusing, as it has been shown that the marriage was a love marriage between them and the victim girl died on account of her ailment. Petitioner is in custody since 13th June 2014. Looking to the materials that has come in the case
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.2506 of 2015 (3) dt.04-03-2015 2/2 diary, petitioner Rama Shankar Mahto @ Rama Shanker Mahto is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhubani in connection with Bbubarhi P.S.Case No. 73 of 2014, subject to the condition that the petitioner would co-operate in the proceeding and if the petitioner will fail to co-operate in the proceeding of the court and will remain absent for two consecutive dates without reasonable explanation, the court will pass appropriate order, including cancellation of bail bonds.
