The petitioner being the husband of the informant is languishing in custody since 15.10.2014 in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 341, 448, 504 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

The basic accusation is of torture.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the informant that the petitioner was earlier granted anticipatory bail on the undertaking that he will bring the informant to keep her as wife with full dignity and honour but he never complied the undertaking and thereafter evaded to appear for four years. No.1434 of 2015 (02) dt.15-01-2015 2/2 period under custody, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria in connection with Raniganj P.S.
