Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by order dated 15.03.2021 passed in Cr.Misc.No.20576 of 2020, the petitioner was directed to deposit an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- and after doing so, the petitioner was to surrender in the court below within a period of eight weeks and furnish bail bond in connection with Special case Vigilance No.14 of 2018 arising out of Vigilance P.S. case No.38 of 2018 pending in the court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhagalpur. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that this application for modification has been filed for extension of time to surrender in the court below. He further submits that due to covid19 pandemic, the petitioner could not arrange the aforesaid amount of

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9068 of 2022(3) dt.28-04-2022 2/2 Rs.1,00,000/- and the same was not deposited in the court below. By order dated 23.02.2022 passed in the present modification application, the petitioner was allowed further six weeks time to deposit an amount of Rs.1,00,000/- in the court below. Learned counsel Mr.Akshansh Ankit, appearing for the petitioner, during course of argument, submits that in pursuance of the aforesaid order dated 23.02.2022, the petitioner has deposited Rs.1,00,000/- in the court below and further prays for extension of time to surrender in the court below.

Considering the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the period of surrender of the petitioner in the court below is extended for a further period of eight weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. The rest of the conditions stipulated in the order dated 15.03.2021 passed in Cr.Misc.No.20576 of 2020 shall remain the same.
