BEFORE THE LOK ADALAT HELD AT HIGH COURT PATNA MA No.533 of 2018 Petitioner : Savitri Devi and Anr Respondent : Sri Ram Singh and Ors Present:- Member(Judicial) :Mr. Justice Ashok Kumar Pandey Member(Legal Profession) : Priyanka Singh AWARD The dispute between the parties having been referred for determination to the Lok Adalat and the parties having compromised/ settled the case/matter, the following award is passed in terms of the settlement:

Both parties have appeared and this matter has been compromised at Rs.8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakh), as full and final settlement. The same shall be paid to the claimants by the Insurance Company within a period of one month from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this award. Let the statutory amount, if any, be remitted back to the Insurance Company.

2. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the opposite party/defendant no. 2 (The Branch Manager, the New India Insurance Company Limited) that the driving license was fake. As such, right to recovery from the owner of the offending vehicle be given to opposite party/defendant no. 2 (The Branch Manager, the New India Insurance Company Limited) and statutory amount, if any, shall be sent to the trial court that will be paid to Insurance company within one month.

The parties are informed that the court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded. ___________________ Petitioner/Petitioner's representative
