2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State.

3. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sonbarsa Raj P.S. Case No. 76 of 2022 registered for the offence under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

4. As per the prosecution case, unknown criminals have shot at the driver of truck on the National Highway in which the truck driver died.

5. The involvement of the petitioner has come during investigation and he is in jail since 24.05.2023 and the petitioner has criminal antecedent also.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.

8. The Court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and conclude the same at the earliest. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Vikas/- U T
