The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in connection with Nautan P. S. Case No. 229 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner is named in the self inculpatory statement of the person from whom recovery was made and he has said that the petitioner is his business partner. In view of the allegations levelled against the petitioner, this anticipatory bail application is not maintainable
