The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 21 of 2022 instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition & Excise (Amendment) Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10.01.2022, is a person of clean antecedent, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and allegation is of recovery of 335 liters of liquor from the bank of a river.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has gone for morning walk when he came to be implicated when the search was being made.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 10.01.2022 and charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and the petitioner is a person of clean antecedent, let the petitioner above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 3000/- (Rupees three Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Court II, Excise, Jehanabad in connection with Jehanabad P.S. Case No. 21 of 2022.
