Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Katihar Mufassil P.S. Case No. 196 of 2018 registered under sections 366A, 341, 342, 376, 511/34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 4 of the POCSO Act.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not named in the first information report and has been falsely implicated in this case due to village politics. The present first information report has been lodged after one week of the alleged occurrence without there being any plausible explanation for the delay. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
