APP ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL ORDER 14-07-2021 Heard the parties through video conferencing. The instant application has been filed for modification of the order dated 6.3.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 3405 of 2020 whereby while granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Dhoraiya P.S. Case no. 88 of 2018, the petitioner was directed to surrender in the learned Court below within a period of 6 weeks.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for reasons beyond his control, the petitioner could not surrender in the learned Court below within the time fixed and hence this application. It is further submitted that pursuant to the direction of this Court, a sum of Rs.5,000/ has been deposited in the Patna High Court Legal Services Committee and receipt

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.15594 of 2021(3) dt.14-07-2021 2/2 bearing no. 1243 dated 5.4.2021 has been brought on record in the supplementary affidavit.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State, the order dated 6.3.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 3405 of 2020 granting bail to the petitioner in connection with Dhoraiya P.S. Case no. 88 of 2018 is modified to the extent that the period fixed therein for the petitioner to surrender is extended by a further period of 6 weeks from today. Remaining part of the said order dated 6.3.2020 remains unchanged.

The modification application stands allowed to the above extent.
