The present writ petition has been preferred for: (i) That a writ in the nature of Mandamus or Certiorari or any other appropriate writ or writs, order or orders be issued directing the respondent authorities to ascertain and fix the amount of compensation, for the acquisition of the commercial land belonging to the petitioner for the purpose of broadening the stretch of National Highway No. 106 from Birpur to Bihpur, near Mauja- Dharhara, Supaul, as per the official rate provided for the category of commercial land alongside the National Highways, which is Rs.1,10,000/- per decimal.

(ii) That the respondents be also

Patna High Court CWJC No.15953 of 2016(2) dt.04-08-2025 2/2 directed to award adequate compensation to the petitioner for the shops constructed by her to run her business on the land in question which has been acquired for the purpose of broadening of National Highway.

(iii) That the respondents be directed to pay Rs.6,60,000/- along with interest payable thereon, for acquisition of land in question, to the petitioner @ Rs.1,10,000/- per decimal, the area of land in question being six decimals.

(iv) That any other relief to which the petitioner is entitled be granted.

Mrs. Nutan Sahay, learned counsel for the State straightaway taken this Court to paragraph 10 of the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent nos. 2 to 4 according to which the petitioner filed written application on 09.10.2016 requesting for payment of amount which was accepted with her without any objection and indemnity bond also filed.

4. In that background, grating liberty to the petitioner to agitate the matter if the grievance still remains, the writ petition is disposed of.
