Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Kawakole P.S. Case No. 153 of 2019 registered under section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Petitioner has earlier moved this Court for grant of bail in 22938 of 2020 which was rejected vide order dated 18.01.2021 (Annexure-1).

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been rotting in judicial custody since 23.12.2019 and the trial of the case is not likely to be concluded in near future.

Learned Addl. P.P. appearing for the State opposes

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9362 of 2022(6) dt.11-05-2022 2/2 the prayer for bail and submits that there is no fresh ground warranting reconsideration of the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, I do not feel inclined to grant bail to the petitioner as there is no fresh ground for reconsideration of the prayer for bail. The prayer for bail is, accordingly, rejected.

However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the case and conclude it expeditiously preferably within a period of six months.
