The accusation against the petitioner is that he called the informant at his home and made attempt to commit rape on her but according to prosecution case itself, the alleged occurrence took place on 04.07.2014 but the first information report was lodged on 08.07.2014. Petitioner is in jail custody since 16.06.2015 and does not have any criminal antecedent.
