04-03-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Ashok Kumar, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor. The petitioner, who is in custody in Bounsi P.S. Case No.140 of 2014 registered for the offence under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code, has prayed for grant of bail. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during investigation only members of in-laws family of the petitioner have supported the prosecution case, otherwise no any independent witness has supported the accusation. On perusal of material available on record, it is evident that the marriage of daughter of the informant was solemnized with the petitioner in the month of July, 2010. It has been alleged by the informant that his daughter was regularly being tortured for demand of dowry and finally she was done to

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.613 of 2015 (3) dt.04-03-2015 2/2 death by throatling. From the materials on record, it appears that the allegation of throatling is corroborated by the inquest report as well as post-mortem examination report, which has been notice by learned Sessions Judge, Banka, while rejecting the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

I do no find any ground to extend the privilege of bail to the petitioner. The petition stands dismissed. (Rakesh Kumar, J) NKS/- U
