1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the present writ application is being filed on behalf of the petitioner for issuance of an appropriate writ/order/direction commanding the Respondents to make payment of the arrear of the difference amount of salary due from 20.03.2000 to 31.05.2008 due to grant of 2nd Assured Career Progression with penal interest at the rate of 12% per annum and further to pay the consequential retiral benefits including pension on the revised scale due to

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna, i.e. the respondent no.4, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. It is needless to state that in case appropriate petition is filed, by the petitioner, before the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation, Patna, i.e. the respondent no.4, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be considered, in accordance with law and a reasoned and a speaking order shall be passed, thereon, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

4. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
