The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 409, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

Prosecution case in nutshell is that in the year, 2020, irregularities were committed by the petitioner in granting aid to the flood affected people and after finding the irregularities true in granting the relief, the petitioner was issued show cause notice but he did not submit his explanation. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Merely the petitioner did not give his explanation, he has been implicated in this case. He further submits that the allegation

In this juncture, it is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the list was prepared by the Gram Panchayat which was later on compared and after comparing the name of actual beneficiaries of said Panchayat, the name of other persons was deleted from the list. Petitioner has got clean antecedent.

Learned APP appearing for the State opposed the anticipatory bail.

Considering the aforesaid submissions, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Saran at Chapra in connection with Amnour P.S. Case No. 268 of 2021, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
