For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Rabi Bhushan For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Lalan Kumar(App) ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE JUSTICE SMT. ANJANA PRAKASH ORAL ORDER 08-01-2015 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Halsi P.S.Case No. 71/2014 instituted for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 120(B) and 302 of the Indian Penal Code pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Lakhisarai. It has been submitted that though there is allegation that five persons had shot the deceased from close range but only three anti mortem wounds were found on the person and none of them was found to have been fired closely. However, considering that the occurrence has taken place because the deceased was a witness in an earlier case against Narayan Yadav, who is relative of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.488 of 2015 (2) dt.08-01-2015 2/2 The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial. (Anjana Prakash, J) singh/- U R
