The petitioner seeks pre-arrest bail in connection with Pirpainty P.S. Case No. 117 of 2012 registered under Sections 395 and 412 of the Indian Penal Code. Regard being had to the gravity of the offence, the criminal antecedent of the petitioner and the fact that the name of the petitioner transpired during investigation, I am not inclined to grant him anticipatory bail.
