The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20/22 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

From the tea stall of the petitioner, 200 grams of Ganja in 35 sachets were recovered.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner was on inimical terms with co-villager Arjun Sah and hence, the present case has been maliciously lodged. Considering the quantity of recovery, and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

No.1348 of 2016 (2) dt.12-01-2016 2/2 Let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner if he surrenders within a period of six weeks in connection with Sahebpur Kamal P.S. CAse No. 380 of 2015 pending in the Court of Addl. C.J.M., V, Begusarai.
