This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Ghoshi Police Station Case No. 480 of 2022, dated 27.07.2022, disclosing offences under Sections 147/149/323/ 354-B/427/337/338/307/504 of the Indian Penal Code. The prosecution case, as per the First Information Report, is that the petitioner, along with other accused persons, altogether nine in numbers, assaulted the father-in-law of the informant by means of lathi, rod, bricks, stone etc., due to which he sustained injuries and the petitioner snatched the golden mangalsutra of the sister-in-law of the informant. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that

He further submits that the allegation against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature and the only specific allegation is that he snatched the golden mangalsutra of the sister-in-law of the informant. He further submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and the injuries caused to the informant and others have not been found to be grievous in nature.

Regards being had to the submissions made on behalf of the parties and taking into consideration the fact that both the parties are agnates, there is land dispute between them and the allegation against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature, I am inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of anticipatory bail.

This application is, accordingly, allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad, in connection with Ghoshi Police Station Case No. 480 of 2022, subject to the condition laid down under
