2. The petitioner, who is in custody since 17.09.2024, seeks regular bail in connection with K. Hat P.S. Case No. 462 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 25(1-b)a, 25/27 of the Arms Act and Section 109 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. As per the prosecution case, two loaded countrymade pistols and four live cartridges were recovered from the possession of the petitioner inside his in-laws place. It is alleged that the petitioner had fired indiscriminately inside the house.

4. The mother in law of the petitioner has filed one I.A. No. 01 of 2025 and has opposed the bail application of the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.8380 of 2025(3) dt.08-05-2025 2/2 petitioner.

4. From the allegations levelled against the petitioner, it appears that the petitioner who is the son-in-law of the intervener is not mentally sound .

5. The petitioner is directed to be examined by an expert psychiatrist. If it is found that the petitioner is not normal then he should be shifted to Bihar State Institute of Mental Health and Allied Sciences, Koilwar, Bhojpur for treatment of his ailment by an expert psychiatrist. If he is found normal then he shall be released on bail by the Court below on furnishing bail bonds.

6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
