The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Suppl. Mansi P.S. Case No. 182 of 2019 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 498(A), 304(B), 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 19.09.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 18209 of 2023 with an observation to learned trial court for speedy trial of the case within a year. In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10828 of 2024(3) dt.20-03-2024 2/2 with regard to present stage of trial dated 16th February, 2024 has been received and the same is kept at flag 'A'. From its perusal it appears that the trial would be concluded within a period of six months.

No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail of the petitioner. Accordingly, prayer for grant of regular bail is rejected.

Accordingly, petition stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within stipulated time as mentioned in its report (ie. 6 months), failing which, the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer of bail.
