The petitioner, Rakesh Kumar Mandal, seeks regular bail in Araria P.S. Case No.342 of 2014, registered under Sections 399,402 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 25(1-B)a, 26(ii) and 35 of the Arms Act. The police intercepted a jeep and five persons are said to have been arrested. On search, arms and ammunitions were also recovered, but from the possession of the petitioner, Rakesh Kumar Mandal, one Nokia mobile was recovered. Petitioner is in jail since 23.07.2014.

Considering the fact that no arms was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the petitioner has remained in jail for about six months, his prayer for bail is allowed.
