JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 04-08-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 379/353/34 and other ancillary sections of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already deposited the compounding fee chargeable under section 56 of the Bihar Minerals (Concession, Prevention of Illegal Mining, Transportation & Storage) Rules, 2019 which is being levied as penalty for the alleged illegal transportation of minerals.

Considering the aforesaid facts of the case, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. In the event of arrest/surrender
