====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 11-03-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. Petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Maner P. S. Case No. 604 of 2022 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A), 306 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, this petitioner along with other family members killed the daughter of informant due to non-fulfilment of dowry demand.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. Petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case merely because he is brother-in-law of the deceased. Petitioner is separate in mess and property and is simply victim of over implication. As a

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.11517 of 2026(2) dt.11-03-2026 2/2 matter of fact, deceased herself committed suicide by hanging herself to ceiling fan. Petitioner is in custody since 18.12.2025.

5. However, learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application.

6. Considering the nature of accusation and period of custody, this bail application is allowed. The petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Danapur, Patna in connection with Maner P. S. Case No. 604 of 2022.
