The petitioner is accused in connection with Jogbani P.S. Case No. 242 of 2019, registered under Sections 30(a) and 38(i) of the Bihar Excise Act, 2016.

The accusation is of recovery of 87 bottles each containing 300 ml Nepali liquor, kept in one sack, from the scooty bearing registration no. BR 395-3477, which was being driven by the petitioner, while his associates Bishwajit Singh succeeded to flee away.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent and is in custody since 21.08.2019.

No.9831 of 2020(2) dt.28-02-2020 2/2 Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the 2nd Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Araria, in connection with Jogbani P.S. Case No. 242 of 2019 corresponding to Special Case No. 1075 of 2019. Out of two sureties, one surety must be the close relative of the petitioner.
