JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 15-07-2022 Heard the parties through virtual court proceedings. Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defects within four weeks of resumption of normal court proceedings. In the eventuality of non-removal of defects within stipulated period, office will place the matter before the Bench. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with a case registered for the offence punishable u/s 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the supplementary affidavit, it is evident that vide order dated 01.07.2019, passed in Cr. Misc. No.39631 of 2019, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner was heard and rejected.

The petitioner has not surrendered before the learned court below and has filed this fresh anticipatory bail application.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.9565 of 2022(2) dt.15-07-2022 2/2 Considering the same, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The prayer for bail on his behalf is hereby rejected.

This application is accordingly dismissed.
