2 The prayer is for the following reliefs:

"That by this application, the petitioner is invoking the writ jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court in the nature of writ of mandamus for directing the respondents to consider for promotion to the post of Joint Secretary as petitioner is eligible for promotion to the said post of the Joint Secretary and no remarks or proceeding is pending against the petitioner."

3 A detailed counter affidavit of respondent No 2 is on record in which the reasons have been assigned. 4 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it will suffice if he is allowed to prefer a representation and/or the earlier representation filed on 07.06.2018, duly received in the

Patna High Court CWJC No.2791 of 2020(2) dt.14-09-2023 2/2 office is/are disposed of at the earliest.

5 The writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid liberty.

6 It is made clear that this Court has not given any opinion in this regard.
