In the present case the petitioner is seeking a relief that he should be given a licence for running a PDS shop on compassionate ground as his father was running a PDS shop and he died on 15.10.2015.

The counsel for the State has pointed out that the petitioner has given his age as 36 years in his affidavit. Be that as it may, let the petition filed by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.14011 of 2016 (2) dt.05-05-2017 2/2 petitioner on compassionate ground for grant of licence for running a PDS shop be considered and decided in accordance with law.

This Court is not giving any opinion on the merits of the case.
