ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 19-04-2024 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has stated that even though the petitioner has filed his objections to the notice served under Section 6 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, the authority till date have not passed the final orders under Section 10 of the Act. Therefore, seeks a direction from this Court to direct the Certificate Officer (Respondent No. 3) to pass necessary orders under Section 10 of the Act duly taking into consideration the objections filed by the petitioner.

2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has stated that he has no objection if a direction is given to the Certificate Officer (Respondent No. 3) to pass

3. Having regard to the above made submissions, without going into the merits or demerits of the case, the present CWJC is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 3 i.e. the Certificate Officer to disposed of the Certificate Case pending before him and pass necessary orders under Section 10 of the Act duly taking into consideration the objections filed by the petitioner.

4. It is needless to mention that before passing any orders, the petitioner shall be given an opportunity of hearing. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Any order passed shall be communicated to the petitioner.

5. With the above directions, the present CWJC is disposed of.
