The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
As per allegation in the F.I.R., on information having been received, a raid was conducted in the house of one Sanjay Sahni, 423 litres of liquor was recovered and the petitioner was taken into custody.
It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a 66 year old lady. She has been falsely implicated in the case because of her being mother of accused Sanjay Sahni. She is in custody since 13.12.2020 and has no criminal antecedent. Investigation in the case has concluded.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the submissions made on behalf of the petitioner, the petitioner being in custody for more than 8 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Gadhpura P.S. Case no.118 of 2020 (G.R. no.1309 of 2020) on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cumSpecial Judge, Excise Act, Begusarai.
